Does anybody feel Marc is playing a version of himself mixed with....

Denis Leary's character in rescue me? Tommy Gavin. Maybe i'm wrong and I wouldnt of thought of it if Leary didnt produce it etc. but it kind of comes across as Maron playing Gavin, dont get me wrong I loved rescue me.

I can't say, as I've never seen Rescue Me. But I just caught an episode, and it sorta reminded me of Curb.

But instead of just taking it, Maron gives as good as he gets. That, and a blend of Talk Radio, Eric Bogosian's character in that where he muses on the mic.
