So Marc Maron actually has a podcast show.

A lot of episodes are under a paywall I believe, so just choose one that features someone you like. He had the president on recently, so that's a pretty good place to start.

It is brilliant if you like interviews in Maron's style. It is no stand-up and the fun stuff varies depending on Maron's moods, the guests and the topics.
The one with Obama is interesting (including the podcasts before and after) and there is a great interview with Sam Simon (which is still available free for a few days), which shows Maron's quality as the host.

It's a great Podcast, and you get all of the recent episodes for free. The paywall is only to cover the hosting fees for maintaining the archive of all the older recordings.

Most of the interviews are good, if you like the person he is interviewing it's fun to listen to. I just listened to the Jimmy Fallon one, the Amy Poehler one, Dave Foley one, and many more actually because I've been on a road trip. Maron is very interested in SNL and Lorne Michaels meetings, and I find that stuff interesting as well, I have not seen this show, but he was talking about the pilot in one of the podcasts (the unaired one apparently) and it seemed interesting, but I would recommend the podcast. :)

That is what makes M.Maron's podcasts so interesting....each one is good! His style is low-key, funny, and somehow disturbing and soothing, at the same time. Hard to explain, for me. One of the best episodes is Maron, telling of President Obama visiting his garage, where he conducts his podcast. Maron is funny, just talkin' to HIMSELF.
