I agree, thrilling movie for all F1 fans! Great to discover more about F1 history in this documentary.
shareAbsolutely agree. If you are an F1 Fanatic you will love every minute. If you are not an F1 Fanatic I bet you will still enjoy yourself watching this great documentary. It really brings in the human element of the sport which is why I love F1. The speed, excitement and especially the great personalities all make F1 such a fun sport to follow.
It really captures how lethal the sport was and how hard so many have worked to make it safe and so much more enjoyable.
Well, it wasn't the only bad incident in Brundle's F1 career.
When he was driving for Tyrrell in Monaco in 1994 he had an accident where his car ended up on it's side.

Also in 1994 at Dallas Brundle had a big accident during practice and fractured both ankles.
In 1994 while driving for McLaren in Brazil he was involved in the big accident with Verstappen, Irvine and Comas. I believe he had tyre marks on his helmet from that. I was there and saw that accident. Brundle was out of the car and staggering around and almost was hit by one of the accident recovery vehicles.

Also in 1994, Brundle was almost killed at Suzuka when he slid off the wet track, narrowly missed a recovery tractor and instead hit a marshall whose leg was broken. Tragically, what almost happened to him is what did happen to Jules Bianchi and at the exact same corner, track and conditions 20 years prior.
