2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry (Task Force Danger)
The distinctive unit insignia (DUI) worn on the beret and Class A uniform (above name plate) is 2nd Infantry Regiment. The unit depicted is 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry (2-2 IN), 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division; stationed at Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany.
The battalion deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) II, from February 2004 and returned to Germany in February 2005.
Currently, 2-2 IN is assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division at Ft. Polk, Louisiana (16 September 2015).

Fun fact: Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry were authorized to wear the 1st Marine Division combat patch since Task Force 2-2 (2-2 IN, 2/A 82nd EN, F/4th CAV, B/1-63 AR, 1/C/82nd EN, 1/A/1-6th FA) was directly assigned to the Regimental Combat Team 7 (RCT-7) during Operation Phantom Fury (Second Battle of Fallujah).
