The different frame rate thing....

1) How noticeable is it?
2) Is it every theatre that shows it with the higher frame rate, or only a few of them?

1) It's incredibly noticeable. Revolutionary technique.
2) Very, very few theaters and going, going (soon) gone from those.

Thanks. I didn't realise it was only five theatres in the entire world. I really wanted to watch it in 120 fps, but I don't think it is worth a trip to New York.

I saw BLLHW in 120 fps in Seattle. The high frame rate did not hit me over the head. But I might have enjoyed the movie more than I would have at 24 fps. The action scene reminded me of the Lumières' L'Arrivée d'un train en gare de La Ciotat in its intensity. I was absolutely riveted, and the scene laid the emotional foundation for the entire movie.

One theater near me showed in the high-frame rate format from last Friday till Wednesday the 24th, but not in 3D or 4k. I didn't get a chance to see it.

I saw it in NYC yesterday. I was iffy on the technique and was blown away by it. The half time scene and the gun battle were breath taking
