Tartakovsky's back!
well he directed the first movie which was great. now i wanna see what he's gonna do in the sequel. it'd better be good

you can't be serious? this is the same man that created samurai jack. one of the most beautifully done cartoons ever
not only was the first hotel transylvania film absolutely full of the worst disney/hollywood cliches but now he's directing adam sandler's screenplay as a sequel? this really breaks my heart
then, don't watch it. Hotel Transylvania was one of the better Sandler movies out there
sharetrust me i wont watch it. but i did watch the first one with high hopes and i have to say not only is tartakovsky not back but he's dead and buried while his name and body is being used and abused by the hollywood money machine in a most despicable way. rip the gendy tartakosky of my childhood
shareSamurai Jack is awesome. However, if you've seen his other works, you'll notice that Hotel Transylvania is just "Justice Friends", only with the Universal Studio monsters. Justice Friends had similar jokes for each of its relatively short episodes; sure the humor was corny, but it worked, since it was supposed to be a parody of Marvel superheroes way before the god-like fame they enjoy today. While it's not the same as before, you can see traces of Tartakovsky's style in the first film, and it's ok, IMO.
