Like a year or 2? Cause the wolf pup girl Winnie who liked Dennis, wasn't she in the first movie (as the wolf girl pup who had the pacifier)? & she didn't seem that much older than Dennis
shareI was once told that the sequel takes place 7 years after the original; if that's true, then they probably should of at least aged Johnny a bit considering that it was 21 in the first film and Mavis was 118 (18 years by vampire age). What troubles me more is that Vlad is already showing his age, but Drac should've too if he's already now a grandfather.

vlad is centuries old plus may not be drinking much blood.
drac seems to keep busy/active and seems to drink a lot of 'red stuff'.
I think it starts about a year after the first movie, then jumps ahead to when Dennis is 5. Johnny was 21 in the 1st movie, so I'd say he's about 27 at the end of this one.

Denis is about to turn 5, it takes 9 months for a baby to gestate and it's reasonable to assume 1 year before Mavis became pregnant.
So 5 years + 1 year + 0.75 years (9 months) = 6.75 years.
