Question for anyone (adult) who has seen this?

Is HT2 (hotel transylvania 2) scary?

i loveed the first one, a lot. i have it on dvd.

but have heard reports that the spook factor is up a lot more in the sequel.

typical hollywood -more money, louder, bigger, scarier scenes!

let me know please so i know whether it is suitable or not. would love to see the drac pack again tbh but not sure if it's worth the stress.

I took my 8 year old. She was never scared and I didn't think it was scary at all.

there's just something about hotels that spook me, i don't know what it is...

the idea of not having a place to call your own reminds me a lot about growing up in foster homes. kind of a hard topic for me...

anyway, as a percentage, how much of the film is set IN an actual hotel? if it's less than say... 40% i'm ok.

also are there any beach scenes? thanks.

Hmmm, I don't know percentage wise, but a majority of the movie that is set in the hotel, you really don't realize it is in fact a hotel. Most of it just seems to be their home. There isn't too much where the actual hotel itself is noticeable.

what about those beach scenes willie, how many?

i can handle 2 or 3. anything more is NOT happening.

I didn't notice anything particularly scary, though the giant bat monsters mught be a little intense for the more sensitive tykes.

If you're happy and you know it, go sit in the corner and think about your life.

reply

thanks, not a fan of winged things in general (it's a trigger) so might just sit this one out which is a shame,

cos i love that drac pack

It wasn't scary at all. It was funny, but not scary.

The characters do try to scare humans from time to time, but it's always played for laughs.

So you don't like hotels, beaches and flying things?
