WTF?! DRACULA thinks that...
... letting a monster scare DENNIS (so he can get his fangs) is going too far, but throwing him off a high tower isn't?! Also, how would DENNIS have been scared anyway? He lives surrounded by monsters.

shareGood point but the logic isn`t the strong characteristic of Adam Sandler`s movie.
shareletting Vlad scare Dennis = emotional trauma
throwing Dennis off a high tower = easily avoidable death - it was easy for him to save Dennis
Also, how would DENNIS have been scared anyway? He lives surrounded by monsters.
He was surrounded by monsters but I'm assuming they don't show him things like murdering animals.
Exactally.
Vlad's idea meant destroying the most favorite character to Denis. That's very traumatic. Throwing him from a cliff isn't, he was even having fun.
And we were pretty much shown that those monsters are unable to scare...
there is a difference between shock fear and emotional fear. the cliff fear was a shocking thing,
shareIt's how Drac learned to fly. It's how I learned to swim - I didn't know about drowning, saw others swimming, and jumped into the deep end and doggy paddled. Fear gets in the way.
Yeah, I get that the kid would have splattrred, but it's a cartoon.
