Houses to film in

Do they rent houses to film the interviews with the person that contacted them? There's no way that all of these people live in such nice houses. These houses have nicely painted walls, lots of swanky decorations, etc.

I'm watching one now (the one about Paris) and there's photos behind them of all white people. Paris doesn't seem to be on them, though they are blurred. It looks like a family...

Is it because of permits or something?!

Pretty sure most of these houses are their parent's houses. Most of the subjects are too young to have all of that on their own.

Yea I always assume it's a family members house that they're living in.

I was just talking about this. The beautiful hardwood floors in a majority of the homes and sparse furnishings. After this last ep with Vince, that was clearly a well lived in home.
