I really wanted to see if they were still speaking to each other, or if they saw each other again.

Courtney is considered Kayla's son's grandmother, now. And Kayla's dead parents share custody of her.

I looked at the mtv bonus clips and saw the updates but, that was weird. They always have an update during the actual episode and this one definitely needed one. It was so weird so, to just end it that way sucked. I think everyone should know that Kayla and Courtney are still speaking and are even closer now than before.

I agree, I thought it was weird when I was watching too, especially since this episode was longer than usual. It was generally just a very disappointing episode, considering how much it was hyped up by MTV.
