Go Max

Nev, not so much in this episode! I liked seeing Max calling Vince on his BS. He called the catfish on her BS too...but yeah Max was not letting Vince off the hook. Nev was all weirdly trying to defend him, just doing what "guys do" (sending dick pix to your online "ex" girlfriend while dating someone else?)....Max was like UM yeah no, thats not just what men 'do' lol.

Max +1, Nev -1

Vince was a hypocrite. I'm glad it backfired. He went in all poor me, I have this stalkery ex, ruining my relationship. When really, deep down, he'd kept that "ex" dangling and was sorta maybe possibly still secretly hoping she'd be the hot one he thought she was. But he was smug about wanting to expose her lies, too. I'm glad the real-life girlfriend cut him off. She dodged a bullet. I wouldn't' even say it was the "catfish" that ruined the relationship and hurt her (Lisa I think?) No, that was Vince. The catfish just allowed her to see his true nature.

I don't recall exactly what he said, but when they were driving to meet Miranda, Vince leaned over at some point and said something really loud and obnoxious in Nev's face and Nev didn't even react to it. He just kept on driving and ignored him. It's pretty funny. Nev and Max either knew ahead of time what Vince was up to or they were just completely annoyed by him at that point.

The show is not as interesting as it used to be, but the one thing that never gets old is when the person supposedly being Catfished is really trying to play Nev/Max and it blows up in their face.

Haha yeah I did wonder if they kind of knew beforehand, too, that he wasn't as much of a victim as he seemed.

The part you're talking about, he leaned over and said how he couldn't want to look her in the eye and say "you're sitting on a throne of liessss" or something like that. And Nev was like "...." haha. Usually you don't see the "victim" being so gloating about it. They're usually more hurt, anxious, all that. This guy seemed to be enjoying the ride.

Yeah that part was creepy as hell, the lighting made it even better lol I love that as the seasons has gone on max and nev seem to be harsher on calling people out on their BS. Vince's true colors really came out by the end of this episode...

From the beginning I didn't believe him to be an innocent victim even for a second. I mean just no you block that bitch and change your number the problem is solved. He had to really be leaving the door open for it to make his girlfriend break up with him over it.

reply

Yea. I knew he was lying about something when he said he changed his number to get rid of her, and she got his new one somehow

How could could a stranger from another state who you've never met just get your new number? The only way would be if someone he knows gave it to her or if he had it on his facebook or something and she saw it. But he would be able to narrow it down either way.

Turns out he never stopped talking to her.

Boredom is bullsh#t.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked when Nev gave Vince a pass for lying... I definitely can't ever recall him doing that.

I knew something was off about Vince from the very start... and Max kept side-eying him so I knew he wasn't buying everything either. I LOL'd when they were driving to meet the girl and Vince made some dumb joke that no one acknowledged... most people are so nervous during that drive but he didn't seem all that bothered.

I don't feel sorry for Vince at all, but I also have NO respect for anyone who would lie about having cancer for sympathy, so Miranda can kick rocks too.

Totally.

I called *beep* at the beginning. Vince was trying too hard to look like a victim, but I'm glad Max called him on it.
