Jaylin and Ja'la

I wasn't expecting her to come out and say "Yeah, I know him." I thought for sure it would have a stolen identity situation.

Same here. It was surprising. I'm glad Jaylin was really levelheaded about it though and continued to live in Ohio and develop the game with his friend. Ja'la still seems really immature and if they tried to carry on a long distance relationship, she would probably cheat on him (as he saw a preview of on Snapchat). And if he would've moved all the way out to Wyoming, he would've damaged the relationship he had with his friend and his career moves with the game, just to probably learn that it wouldn't work out between them anyway. With him starting his career of sorts and her still in college, I think they are in different places in their lives as well.

I agree she seemed really immature and it was clear she was just out for the attention from lots of men. Especially her saying she's a preacher's kid it makes sense that she's kinda all over the place. Kids that have been sheltered and their parents never let them do anything - soon as they get that first taste of freedom???? You can forget it! She's got a lot of growing up to do and he seems to have goals and his *beep* together. He can find someone on his level.

To me, she was the exact equivalent of the guy in California that Catfished that woman that wanted to move to California to marry him and got a tattoo for him. I can't remember their names, but the guy, just like Ja'la seem to get a kick out of getting people to open up completely to them and make serious lifestyle and location changes to please them.

Ja'la has probably got a bunch of guys she's Catfishing as well as dating. It's all a game to her.

Yes! Le-UH and Justin. He was such a prick but she was a dumbass smh. That was a rough episode to watch lol

I felt like something was missing, too. I thought they must have edited it out. But okay, so at first, she couldn't call him because of her preacher dad. Then, supposedly, because of a boyfriend. But according to her, she was currently single...why not call or video chat with him now? You know, she invites him to move there, but can't call/chat?

Either it was "fishy" contrivances for the sake of the show, or just editing... but if not, basically, yeah, the things she said just didn't add up.

reply

I agree. I was shocked she was real. I'm glad they didn't end up together though. She seemed like the cheating type. And I hate that they completely ignored how she said "I'll be at this place with bae" and when they arrived to confront her they never asked her about who "bae" was.

reply

Yeah, I also found that weird. She told them she had broken up with her boyfriend, but she had just posted about having "breakfast with bae". It seemed so odd that no one asked her about it, like they all forgot why they went to that restaurant in the first place..

reply

I was really shocked when she turned out to be really talking to him. Why could she never send him any pictures that weren't on her fb? I really didn't like that she apologized and then told him to move out there. You can meet someone once and expect them to uproot. (Except LeUH apparently)

reply

He seemed like a good guy who shouldn't have any trouble finding a good girl where he lives. Forget this internet love.

lmfao!

Boredom is bullsh#t.

What is the definition of stuck on stupid? Ja'la...

reply

I agree. I didn't expect that to really be the girl he was talking to. And when she came out, I was shocked when she said she knew him. But, I was even more shocked by how immature she seemed to be. I don't know what I really expected her to act like, but that wasn't it. She talked like a girl in Jr. High, not a young woman who is in college.

Even though it was the same person.. It's like who he met online and who he met in person weren't really the same. It was just strange..
