Did they even mention who the real person was or how he felt about being used for hundreds of fake profiles? It seems that they would have at least mentioned it.

They used to track down the person the catfisher is using to fake their profile, but they didn't do it for this one. I guess because the fact that so many girls were being catfished was more compelling that crushing a girl's dream of dating who she thought the profile was of.

Thank you, I thought maybe I missed the mention of it.
It seems to me especially in this case where the man's profile is being used to catfish literally hundreds of unsuspecting women, the real person in the photos (and even in this case a short video) would have the right to know. I would think the show would at least say "We attempted to reach out to the real "Lucas"...", or something like that. Very, very odd.

The guy's photo who he was using has an online viral video with him and some chick doing the lyrics to a dirty rap song. He's probably an amature actor trying to make it big. Which is why he would lend his instagram site to this Catfish show so they could make up an entire story around it involving hot chicks being tricked by the typical-looking nerdy dude. This entire episode reeked of fake.
