Lucas

Meh I can see where he was coming from. Women dissing him on dating sites.

I could understand him wanting to make a fake profile for attention. But then to collect nudes from multiple women and keep track of all the little details like a Nigerian love scam was too much. That takes a lot of time. He needs to get a real life.

AGREED!! ugh..he gave me the creeps!

But the "irony" to me is that Zac was actually kinda cute. Of course, no, he wasn't a GQ model and sadly probably would get "swiped" past more readily than some male model type.

But, in real life (versus Tinder)...I don't see really why he'd have a problem getting a girlfriend. So I think he had other issues going on....porn addiction or something more sinister, ie just liked the game. Who knows, maybe he was bitter and thus secretly liked tricking women...or thought they were so stupid to fall for it that he didn't feel bad at all and liked the manipulation. Something like that.

And frankly I didn't get what was so hot about Lucas lol, the fake guy in the photos. But I'm not really into the beardy look he had. I thought it was interesting they didn't connect with whoever's real photo that was. usually they do. Maybe they reached out and the guy declined to be on the show.

Completely agree with you. From a strictly aesthetic standpoint, I thought Zac was cute, and the hipster dude in the photos did nothing for me. Nice eyes, but way too groomed. I'm just not into guys who have the perfectly trimmed beard, plucked brows, etc. And you just know there is a whole lot of manscaping going on there! 

Haha, here here! Yeah (again, speaking only aesthetically) Zac had the cute puppy thing going on. Lucas was just bland to me, vanilla. Nothing really interesting about his look to me. But to each their own!

He probably can't get a girlfriend because he's a sociopath. He doesn't care about getting a girlfriend - I don't recall him mentioning being sad that he can't find love. He did it all for the power and manipulation. He showed no emotion at all. At one point he even admitted that what he was saying was what he thought they wanted him to say! People had to keep telling him that his reactions and body language were totally wrong. Sociopath.
This scam he ran took up all his free time. Hundreds of women that he kept detailed logs about. He may have deleted the profile because he was forced to on air, but he's not done. I guarantee that he has embarked on further creepy manipulations.

reply

Right. He wasn't bad looking, so that logic rang false. So yeah, there's something else going on...

Also totally agree he's still doing it, just with another fake profile somewhere else.

It's actually really kind of sad. When they went to confront him he was staying at his parents house. I just hope that his family gives a crap enough to try and help him. :-/

I can honestly understand what drives a young, socially unattractive heterosexual man to do what Lucas did. It must be incredibly frustrating to be rejected constantly. Eventually enough resentment would build up that he just said "**** it" let me create a fake profile and get some female attention. In a way, it serves the women right for falling for a pretty boy profile so quickly.

Lucas took it too far, much, much too far.

Almost all the Catfished people all seem to have the same thing in common. They are looking for a notch above what they can really get in the real world. Even the main focus of the Lucas catfish, the Portland Playboy model even said she knew that a guy like fake Lucas would really not have any serious interest in a single mother of 2 and she still went for it. Why, because the guy was so handsome.

There are plenty of girls, even pretty girls, who may have liked the real Lucas. He'll never know now.
