I like Max and love the way he and Nev play off each other. I guess the most positive spin is to say he is a "tv personality". As long as they continue to be entertaining, then they are both earning their paychecks as far as I'm concerned.

shareI definitely think the show works out better with 2 people rather than 1. Who would Nev have to talk to when he's investigating? The crew? Would be super boring with just Nev. Max adds a little something more.
