How does this trash show have such a high rating? Everything is fake.

I saw the documentary, which was great. So I watched a couple episodes of this... They don't even compare. The show is so scripted is hard to believe anyone thinks this is real.

Only seen 1/2 of 1 ep, but it seemed very fake (season 5). Apparently season 1 & 2 were 'real', according to a Vice.com article I just read. But, they said season 3 was bad.
7 seasons of this, yet only 1 series (?) of Bands Reunited (VH1/MTV same thing).
