I agree. I think it was all a scam, but not money wise. That lady seemed like she wanted to belong to that family. I was waiting for her to exposed at the end.

Supposedly after the show aired she set up a page for psychic services and called it "Courtney from Catfish." Yeah seems like she was using the show to further her psychic career. Maybe she wants her own show lIke Long Island Medium.

I honestly think that the foster mom had a baby from her affair with her father and the "psychic" was the child from that affair. I think that's why she wanted to fit into that family and how she knew some intimate details. A woman who was his foster mom and also had an affair with him (disgusting) would know enough about him to tell her daughter. She obviously talked about the girl's mother in a negative way. I'm guessing it was hate towards the "other woman" in her mother's eyes. It was extremely clear that she kept saying that her dad disliked his own sister. She could have gotten that information from the foster mom or just from his sister's body language. The way she just asked questions with such a negative tone behind them made it a piece of cake for the fake psychic to just build off it. I don't believe that lady for a minute.

I totally agree with you. I wish Max and Nev would have researched Courtney a little but better to see what her background is. When I watched the show, I thought that perhaps Courtney knew the father and he confided in her all these personal details. I'm just not buying all this medium crap. For all we know, she could have worked in the prison where he was incarcerated.
