Wolf in sheep's clothing?

When Nev and Max arrived at Courtney's house they stared at the dogs outside and asked "Is this the wolf pack?" I thought that was kind of an odd thing to say. Usually they're very friendly towards people's pets. It turns out Courtney's last name is Wolfe. I looked her up in Jupiter and somebody complained about her working as a psychic after not wanting publicity.

Her facebook page pic is now of her giving Kayla a kiss on the cheek. Under favorites she lists Max Joseph, but not Nev Schulman. Sorry Nev, be more charming next time.

Ok well now I call BS on this episode even more. Wasn't she going on and on about how she never wanted to be a "medium" and about how she didn't want publicity etc. etc.? And about how Frankie was the only "spirit" she's ever been in contact with? And now she's promoting this as her business. How much kickback did the Catfish producers get for giving her all that free publicity?

reply

Yeah...she was saying how she was so scared of her gift and was private and didn't want it and all this. But it's like hm.... The angle on the FB page is still that she is so private and blah blah and avoided the show at first because she didn't want people coming to her... but then she felt she has a gift she must share.....something :P

I knew it she just wanted publicity! Just the name of her page gives it away "Catfish Courtney Wolfe" and she's a "public figure" now?? I don't believe anything she said at all now.

The link doesn't work anymore so maybe they forced her to change the name of her page or something because of the copyright on the Catfish name.

I couldn't stand this episode. I don't believe in mediums or any supernatural nonsense to begin with.

That being said... I think this was a total scam. It doesn't seem like a financial scam, but I think it was a fraud set up by a lonely woman who wanted to latch on to this younger girl. I also think it was a shameless plug for her "business."
