Except what one person thinks is ugly or hot isn't the same as what someone else thinks. I see hot girls dating guys I don't find attractive all the time, and vice versa.

Not if you know them in real life. I'm not ugly and fat but more of average. I know a girl who was in playboy who was seriously interested in dating me. I was in a relationship at the time though. We are still friends years later.

I don't think its about being ugly. Most of these guys are simps and want women's affection. These guys don't have any life skills,goals or confidence in their selves. That hurts their chances. There are also guys who have low and impossible standards like will want a woman with movie or model looks or will settle for somebody that gives them attention even from a feminist or trashy girl. They ever think of finding a woman who can be a wife/mother one day. I think the saddest thing is most of these guys proabbly watched too much American Pie and think the end goal is to get a girl and have sex.
