That's exactly what I thought. Either the show is scripted and they already know who they're meeting...or Nev and Max are just crazy. lol
But still, they should have cops or some sort of security on stand-by.

They know full well who the catfish is beforehand -- it'd be irresponsible not to do a background check
It's only the "victim" who's actually surprised
the show isn't real. with all the laws and burocracy in america today, sending people to knock on someones door would be a serious no no..
also you've never noticed that the catfish is always mic'd up!?!
