From Your Point of View Kasdan Wrote Empire,Jedi and Solo and JJ is fan of Star Wars
shareSo what ? These are just popcorn films not the "Holy Quran".
I think most Star Wars fans care more about whether or not they got these films right than if they were making an adaptation of the Quran.
shareWhat does it matter what "most" Star Wars Fan-dementalists think ? What's so special about them that anyone needs to be bothered with what they think about a few popcorn films ?
I'm saying that to a Star Wars fan, getting Star Wars right is more important than respecting a holy book they have no interest in. Unless they're a Star Wars fan who is also a Muslim, in which case they probably prioritize the Quran above Star Wars. But without doing a survey, I'm willing to go out on a limb and guess that the majority of Star Wars fans aren't Muslims.
shareSome of the most influential popcorn films ever made that changed the cinematic landscape and ushered in a golden era of blockbusters. So basically the “Holy Quran” of popcorn films.
sharePopcorn with lipstick on it is still just popcorn.
It’s more like gold-plated popcorn with dusted diamonds sprinkled on it.
But in all seriousness, they’re not just popcorn films, considering they basically invented a whole new mythology and reinvented pop culture into what it’s been for the last 45 years.
Oh well, that's different then...
Do I really need to explain to you the importance of Star Wars? We’re talking the Beatles of cinema here.
shareIt's just a fucking film dude !
It’s strange to visit a website devoted to discussing films when you obviously don’t care about films.
shareThere is a difference between caring about films and being obsessed by them. But then someone who can't tell the difference between a person who is exasperated by the fanatical ravings of obsessives and someone who "obviously doesn't care about films" probably wouldn't get that.
Don’t try to
Make excuses for your ignorance. You describe Star Wars as “just popcorn films.” While they are blockbuster entertainment, this kind of inaccurate reductionism isn’t helpful for your cause. Secondly, your attempt to label people who legitimately criticize the Disney trilogy for being poorly handled as “obsessive fanatics” is an unfounded generalization. Star Wars was special to a lot of people, and they have a right to be a little miffed about it being poorly handled, and saying they don’t just shows you don’t care. At the moment I don’t even know what you’re trying to argue other than the fact you hate Star Wars fans, in which case why even hang around a Star Wars board?
Also what is so bad about being obsessed with films?
