Will this end up being the best of the trilogy?

TLJ has recieved a lot of vitriol from fans, and it appears TROS is destined to be a hot garbagefire. I guess it seems this will end up being the best of the trilogy? What a shame, as this movie is garbage too.

I dunno...JJ Abrams might not make perfect films, but they're really fun. The Force Awakens was deeply flawed, and I hated what they did with erasing the efforts of the heroes from the first three films, but it was a fun action-adventure film. I think he can make a good closer. That said, the fractures in TFA and TLJ are becoming more aggravating with each installment, so that snowballing might continue and make The Rise of Skywalker really awful. I withhold judgement until I see the film.

No. It's already the worst. Most everything wrong with TLJ can be laid at the feet of TFA which was nothing but a short sighted, poorly written, soft reboot, hodgepodge of the OT. A cheap nostalgia cash grab. Everyone was so high on hype & nostalgia it was blindly given a pass by many(Some of us could see from the beginning that TFA was an unsalvageable mess), it's glaring problems ignored by most until they were laid bare in TLJ.
