Jim Parsons
Especially with his unchanging hair, hard to not see him as Sheldon, even when he said "Because her face had been smashed," it felt like his comedic timing and elicited a small chuckle from me

Indeed all i could see was Sheldon.
He may have been told by the director "Play it as Sheldon. People love Sheldon."
I never thought Julia Louise-Dreyfus could move past Elaine Benes. I also didn't care for her much because Elaine was very one-note, she was basically the villain of Seinfeld.
Then Veep came along. Julia erased Elaine on the first episode. She's fantastic! What an actress, what comedic timing... and how amazingly different her character is in Veep compared to Elaine. Not completely different, they both have wicked sarcasm.
Julia in Veep is kind of like Elaine's ex-alcoholic Aunt that she barely sees (I don't recall if the character is ex-alcoholic, but she plays her like that).
How was Elaine the villain of Seinfeld?
shareYeah I couldn't see anything but Sheldon...but aside from the uncanny resemblance, it was his voice....his cadence, incantations...he just sounded EXACTLY like Sheldon. It was friggin Sheldon up there lol
Too funny...normally you can somewhat separate actors from their previous roles, but not so much in this instance.

He can only play 1 character.
