Why didn't they cast Casey Affleck instead for the Bundy role

Bundy was known to be handsome and charismatic. I wouldn’t exactly use those words to describe Casey Affleck and his characters. Also Affleck is in his 40s, Bundy is supposed to be in his early 30s in the movie.

I knew Ted Bundy personally, trust me, the media makes him out to be more than it is!

1.Not Handsome:

He got better looking during the Florida trial.

2.Not really charismatic more of an actor.

For a charismatic guy, he was only charming with the corpses instead of charming the living.

Casey Affleck looks exactly like Bundy, no denying it..

I think Casey Affleck's good looking. He definitely pulls off the serial killer thing, but the quiet type, not the showman.
