What do you people see in this piece of crap? [POSSIBLE SPOILERS]

This thing was terrible. There wasn't a single redeeming quality in any character except for Ray Romano's realization that he was helping two morons kill themselves. This was a pointless exercise in stupid people being stupid and evil people being evil. You don't learn anything interesting about any of them and they don't learn anything from each other.

The filmmakers should have made it look like some of these fools were doing something redeeming with their lives. You know, so that the audience can get behind somebody. I spent 90 minutes watching a tragedy unfold and I didn't care in the least. My reaction to Tommy and Rosie dying wasn't sympathy or horror. It was the relief of knowing those two won't have any kids.

Special shout-out to my hatred of Micheal Pitt. I have yet to see him play something besides an idiot troubled by his stupid decision making who spends a lot of time sulking with a cigarette hanging out of the corner of his mouth. I was so happy when Jimmy Darmody died on Boardwalk Empire. Why people persist under the delusion that he's an actor is a mystery.

And this douche bag robs the mob with no mask, no bandana, no nothing. Come on. Who the hell would do that??

Where I grew up there was a lot of good fellas. Every so often some idiot thought they could rip them off. Now the mob had mercy on them and killed them fast and left their bodies as a example. I heard of someone who ripped off the boys for 100K and one day he disappeared. His car was still parked in front of his apartment and inside it looked like he still lived there. What I guess it was not slow what they did to him.

Then I suppose casting Michael Pitt as "an idiot troubled by his stupid decision making" was brilliant!

By your logic there should always be a happy ending eh?! Its a mob movie, don't like this genre don't come and bash. Go, watch The Passion of Christ and be eternally redeemed.

you must be a little sad person who has a crush for M. Pitt

go to the doctor, he will give you some medicine

reply

you should really go to a doctor to check your brain

Well, the two people these actors portrayed were, in fact, murdered after robbing the mob's clubs.

Did you want them to rewrite history??

reply

It was a seedy and gritty movie, based on real events. Those two real life robbers of the mobbers weren't all that bright. Hell, they knocked off not one mob, but two--- the Bonanno and Gambino clubs.

These two weren't geniuses.

I love that they made this movie with everyone, except for Ray Romano's character, being an anti-hero. This is true to life. Some people are just stupid, and there really aren't any heroes, not even in our FBI. Period.

I was actually surprised that their deaths we're as humane as they were. I figured they would've been tortured for a bit, but they got off easy with three bullet holes each.

Loved this movie.
