This franchise is completely misunderstood and underrated

For all of the negativity surrounding the Paranormal Activity franchise it admit I was once on that bandwagon...
After watching these films over a five nite span has really opened my eyes to how intricate these films are...
It's so much more than a door moving a few inches and some jump scares ...
they are pretty much gore free for the most part relying on extreme tension and bad vibes..,,
The way these films have been carefully and cleverly intertwined....there is do much more here than most people think..

Agreed. I hated the first one when it came out..mainly because they were boasting how incredibly scary it was..i thought it was and when the second one came out i refused to watch the same. But somehow someone got me to watch it and i started to understand the series, its actually quite good each movie you learn a little something more..the marked ones is actually my favorite so far.

Sheila ran off with Dennis and left Krampus all alone in dirty-ass Baltimore.

Amen to that! I do like the scares in this as for the fun aspect of these films, but it's the story I'm interested in for this series. This and PA2 are a hard decision for top #1 on my favorites list.

They never should've moved past the second movie. The entire series has gone from a simple haunted house movie to a convuluted mess.
