Best Sequel to the Franchise

In my opinion, The Marked Ones was the best sequel to Paranormal Activity... instead of a bunch of stupid middle class white actors looking like actors, we go right into the hood, where a realistic mythology of Brujas are confronted by the Vatos who don't put up with nonsense, and some cute Latinas just trying to live life in an overly Catholic silliness that eventually might not seem so silly after all... I have a lot of respect for families who grew up this way, it's not an easy life... and since I respect the characters more, I relate and empathize with them, and thus the story is more visceral and enjoyable. It's a shame the formula reverted back to the old dumb white people cliche in the next sequel, I guess they thought the audience was too niche and people couldn't relate, but if people give part 5 a chance, it really is the best sequel of the series.

Not really sure what happened to Marisol in the end, Evette Arista, or Ali Rey... all these movies are full of loose ends, don't get too hung up on it...
