I thought that's what was supposed to happen in the finale. I haven't seen yet so try and not give any spoilers other than what I'm asking. Lol

Actually, this is the first one that does not have Katie Featherston (though the young Katie is in it), reportedly because she had issues with this installment. Also, it doesn’t really wrap up the story; in fact, it completely changes the story and leaves it on a cliffhanger.
They claimed this was the final movie in the franchise (though that’s been said before—*cough*Friday the 13th IV: The Final Chapter*cough*Nightmare on Elm St. 6: Freddy’s Dead*cough*etc.*cough*), which if true, means that it won’t be the most satisfying ending ever. (They said it would tie up loose ends, but I don’t think it did.)

Exactly, Katie knew that The Ghost Dimension would be a mistake and wanted NO part in it.
I agree wholeheartedly, I don't even want a sequel to this... trash, we need a remake
with a new title, Chris B Sanders as director who can give us the true conclusion he would of given us had he directed it.
I hope they continue it, I really do, I don't even consider this canon.
