She had a very major role as the sister of Hunter Rey and survivor of the Rey Family, she was in the Marked Ones helping Hector and Marisol with Jessie's possession and gave them knowledge about the final ritual that Jessie will undergo in order to go back to normal but won't be Jessie any more, but she was completely ABSENT in this film!
Another reason I can't consider this film canon to the franchise.
The character wasn't as important to the overall plot. She wasn't a blood relative to Hunter, so she was just a cameo appearance to help give insight into what the witches were doing. This movie is canon, because it does give you the reason for all of the hauntings/possessions/witchcraft. It's all about creating a flesh body for the demon to use. With PA4, it seemed like Hunter was to be that body, but as it turned out, his contribution was just a drop of blood. The series' plot was written/re-written as the movies were made, instead of having the whole thing written ahead of time. As for me, I'd like to see Oren Peli's original version of the first movie. It had less audio special effects, and completely different ending, with both Micah and Katie dead. Steven Spielberg saw it, recommended it to Paramount, and suggested that they change the ending. If both Katie and Micah were dead, it would have prevented any possible sequels.
But it's not canon because the previous Mythology that talked about the Witches making a deal with a Demon and Hunter sacrificing Alex for the ritual at the end of PA4, there was no mention of this and these were very major plot points so there was no excuse to ignore them, all that was mentioned was the fire, Katie killing her family and Hunter missing.
And the biggest error that destroys all credibility of the movie was the time travel ending, If Toby gained human form in 1992, the other movies couldn't happen because he's invisible, but the other movies need to happen or the events in 2013 can't happen, it's a total paradox.
I looked for it but can't find it anywhere, I loved it though.
