I saw it a long time ago on the computer, but I can't remember where I got it from.
I realize this is the wrong section but it might gain more attention here than the

It had longer footage of the psychic, Demon whispering to Katie in one of the nights, and an ending where the cops shoot Katie, where can I get it?
The only way to get the original pre-Paramount version would be getting a bootleg copy. The original was only seen at some movie festivals, when the hype started.
Technically, you can make your own copy of it if you have skills in video editing. I'm not sure if all of the original stuff is available, but I believe that the more tragic ending scene is somewhere on YouTube. It would be nice if Oren Peli and Paramount could maybe release a dvd as a gift to fans.
Perhaps there's some fan who has already made a fan version using various unseen bits, sort of like the Halloween 6 'Producer's Cut'.

shareThe movies shown in theaters are stored on dvds, and people who work at the theaters tend to copy the dvds and sell them. One guy I used to work with had a friend who sold copies of big name releases, charging $10 per disc. Had a list of available copies that was 6 pages long.
