two scenes from the trailer that didn't make it in the movie

In the trailer I noticed two interesting scenes that can be seen for a split second
near the ending of the trailer, one in particular shows some sort of underground area in night vision, a door with the exit sign above can be seen, and the next scene shows
a scene taking place at night and looks like the backyard of Katie and Kristi's house? and there are children with this bright 'energy' around them as they walk towards the camera while the energy is connected to what looks like some coffin or something in the ground surrounded by them, could of been related to the Marked Ones.

I thought these were very intriguing and would of held more relation the franchise had it been kept, It'd be nice to just see them in full and what plays out in them?

Maybe a hidden alternate ending of sorts? Whatever it is,
it's probably better than the actual movie itself,

I await a box set containing all unseen footage from all 5 or even 6 if you count the Marked Ones, you can do it Paramount!

Those scenes were probably just shot for the trailer.

Another trailer scene that wasn't in the movie was when the brothers are watching the tapes and Katie starts talking to them. "We're the fleeg brothers" was not present in the movie.

True, but they probably had their own story-lines attached to them, maybe a box set will unveil all the footage?

Ah, I forgot that scene, though it was in the movie, just worded differently.

It's happened before. Look at the trailer for Paranormal Activity 3, and you'll see scenes that had been cut but would have made it better. It would have had shown Katie and Kristy's house burning, as referenced by Katie in the first movie when she mentioned bad things that happened in her childhood.
The Ghost Dimension has an alternate ending, available on the bluray, but it's just a different way of showing that the demon now has a human body. The family moves to a new house and realizes they accidentally brought one of the videotapes along with them. The dad smashes the tape, and the little girl shows up with her two 'friends', Katie and Kristy. Then there's a jump cut that shows the mom is pregnant, and the little girl wishes that it will be a boy. Then the guy from the coven says something like 'It will be a boy'...meaning that the mom will give birth to the human body inhabited by Toby.

How exactly is Toby inhabiting the body of the baby, when Toby was banished back to Hell?

I don't believe he said that, I heard "That's my girl, look at you, are you having a good day today princess? excellent, happy birthday."

But it does make sense, that's probably why they aren't trying to kill the family, because they know that Toby will still rise, one way or another, doesn't make a lot of sense though.

It doesn't matter if he was banished or whatever. They somehow have time travel ability, hence the part where the daughter going through the tunnel in her wall and going back to 1992. And, the videotape they mistakenly brought to their new house allowed Katie and Kristy to find the little girl and make sure the the ritual happened.
As you said, one way or another, Toby will rise.
None of the movie makes sense, as the overall plot changes over and over. Go back to the original, where it's revealed that Katie is what the demon wants. PA2 shows that Kristy was the main target, and Katie was possessed because the demon was exorcised from Kristy. PA3, young Katie is temporarily possessed while Kristy gets 'married' to Toby. PA: The Ghost Dimension reveals that Katie is meant to be Kristy's protector, which falls apart when the demon killed Kristy in PA2.
The whole story for the series is just a threadbare plot held together with all of the activity happening. I think the plot was just secondary, and the entire series was just load a bunch of cgi effects to draw in the viewers.

The point of the entire 'extermination' was to stop Toby once and for all, he can't just time travel his way out of a critically established plot element like that, he can't even time travel on his own, it was only managed through Katie and Kristi going through these 'trance' states, it can't be done without human hosts, unless ponytail brainwashed the family and impregnated the mother by a supernatural conception like Mary of Christianity, remember in the movie when Leila said something when her mother put the 'baby jesus' and 'Mary' on the table, something like 'She's going to have a special baby' that actually makes more sense.

Well, Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2 to Paranormal Activity 3 still made sense, the Demon was transferred from Kristi to Katie and would of been furious to see her after the years of Paranormal Activity 3 during the night he dragged her into the closet,
I think that's also why he used the Ouija Board to threaten them to not bring a priest or she'd end up just like Diane Mercer, and because her memories were wiped after the ending of 3, she would have no idea that it was Toby, the thing that terrorized her since childhood, and he used this to his advantage, use Katie to kill the Rey Family and obtain Hunter, making Daniel and Martine's 'exorcism' backfire on them, and it really lined up perfectly.

The Ghost Dimension was just a complete mess, the plot was a fail in many ways, no connection to originally established plot elements like 'Lois making the deal with Toby' or the 'Virgin Sacrifice' ritual that required Hunter to kill Alex, or even the Marked possessed males born from brainwashed pregnant females raised in the Coven. Everything lined up perfectly, but Ghost Dimension? It crashed. Hard. But we know the true Mythology would of answered everything, gave us closure, not holding back but also not going out of control with the spontaneous creation of plot-holes and CGI monsters. Becoming something that it's not and never was, from 'something goes bump in the night...' to 'Hollywood'

There was barely any CGI in the previous movies except Katie's demonic face at the end of 3 to 4, and it still worked.
