Did the ending make sense to you?
I thought it did at first, but now it doesn't, if it did make sense to you, could you help me make sense of it all? because what I got from it is that thanks to a present event that occurs after the years of the girls childhoods, Toby is now human in the past and can't be non-human in 2006, so the house fire can't happen because the News reported the fire, and the girls recalled the fire as adults, but in that year Toby is a non-human entity and isn't human... my brain just exploded.
