Just another Saw 3D

Another horrible "last movie" that leaves you with more questions than answers. When Saw was winding down, PA was picking up steam with parts 2 and 3, then 4 was one of the worst things i've ever sat through, TMO semi-redeemed the franchise, then TGD came out, and had to go with the stupid 3D gimmick and toss out the script to give us an ending that had NOTHING to do with everything that came before it. No Hunter, no Katie, no explanations for anything. As much as I like horror movies, I'm getting sick of these "final movies" asking more questions than answering them. The only one that ever finished things correctly, could have been Friday the 13th part 4. But then it made so much money, they said, "forget it, make more"

Not the mention an ending that made no logical sense.

Tbh I only liked Saw 3D or PA 6 because I'm a fan of those series.

Yeah, it's shocking how much PA parallels Saw... especially when it came to how the franchises reflected eachother in later installments.

-You had a revolutionary original film that became a surprise hit and captivated audiences. (Saw and PA)
-Two very solid sequels that built on the foundation of the original that were warmly received by fans. (Saw II/III and PA 2/3)
-Then a sudden dip in quality that made casual film-goers start to abandon ship with only hardcore series fans still defending the series despite the praise it used to get. Saw IV/V and PA 4)
-Then a surprising return-to-quality with one sequel that was much better-received critically and made fans fondly recall the glory days of the original trilogy. (Saw VI and PA: The Marked Ones)
-Then a bad, 3D-gimmicked "final chapter" that raises more questions than answers and feels almost like bad self-parody. (Saw 3D and PA: The Ghost Dimension)

Thankfully, Saw is getting at least one more sequel from the looks of it, so there's a chance they can redeem the series... even if it is only a slight redemption, since ANYTHING would be better for the franchise than the mess that was Saw 3D. Maybe PA will one day get similar treatment?

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
