So they put the custom-made camera, which is one-of-a-kind, in Leila's room in order to catch Toby. Fine, got that. But what about the camera in the hallway, near the stairs? How can that camera pick up Toby???

they used 2 normal camera in liela's room and put the special camera in the hallway coz putting it inside liela' room was too restrictive...
the older camera has a different Timecode style and has way more noise and hiss.

Leila had 2 cameras in her room. One was aimed at her bed straight on, the other was to the right of her bed, and that's the one that picked up Toby when her mother and the friend were in her room. And then there's the camera in the hallway that also picked up Toby.

the camera that picked up TOBY in the room is on a different night than the night it picked up toby in the hallway.
they first see toby in the room, then they decide they need to see outside n put the ghost cam in the outside.
