Not all movies are brilliant or highbrow philosophical mediums that motivate people to think about existentialism.
The PA series has had it's fair share of critics since the first one came out, and considering all the scathing reviews, there's no reason to assume that these movies are anything more than creative entertainment.
Witches that time travel? An original idea, but not exactly hardcore science fiction. Is this a topic that I need to discuss ad nauseum or else my entire worldview falls a part? Not so much.

Here we go. Someone dismissing the valid criticism of the bad writing in this movie by saying "It's not high art." Sorry pal, but a story still needs to make sense.

That's an idiotic defense of bad writing. Every movie is creative entertainment. This movie however, lacks the creative aspect and falls apart as the story makes no sense.

It's not even soft science fiction. There are no rules. Time travel just happens.
