Who the blinking heck was Sky?
There was never any explanation of who she was. A relative? Lodger? Who knows!

I think they say something explanatory about her at the beginning of the movie but I didn't catch it. They said something about yoga & energy though, related to Skylar.
I compartmentalized her in my mind as being the wife's sister.
It was totally vague. But, I'm pretty sure she was the nanny. Early on when the brother meets her and gives her a tight hug, he stares at her considerable cleavage and the husband-brother says something like "Cut it out, she's not European, she's American." That would be an odd thing to say of his wife's sister or a foreign exchange student. And I can't see people who live like they did needing a boarder. Plus we see Sky taking care of Leila all through the movie.
shareI thought she was the wife's sister too but agree that she being the nanny makes more sense. For one thing, she look nothing like the Mom and, yes, she does seem to take care of the little girl although we did not see her in the bedroom much!
Honestly, I came to this thread because I wasn't sure either!
