The Spirit camera

This really ruined the movie for me. The movies were scarier when you couldn't see the entity.

Have to agree with you there.

It didn't look real, just a black CGI mess, it was better when it was just a black mass or shadow lurking by, footprints in powder, figure in dust, also I was very disappointed to see it's true form, ever since PA1 I believed Toby was Baphomet or a traditional folklore Demon with a goat head, claws, hooves,

I agree.. But the Xbox trick in PA3 was cool. It showed just enough to get real creepy but not ruin the mystery.

I see your point, but I actually rather enjoyed it. I get the appearance aspect of it, but it gave us an idea of what the kids were looking at. Plus it was still horrifying. For example, when the blonde lady came in to tuck Leila in, and Toby was there the whole time.

The way I see it, the filmmakers decided these films were no longer scary, so they decide to just to go crazy with what's supposed to be the last movie.

Agreed. This movie is an absolute turd. Horrific CGi, if they insist on using computer graphics then at least make them appear realistic, and the ending, oh my, what a pile of horse sh*t. Tobi gets what he wants and literally walks off, fck me four films and that's all they could muster? Dreadful.

It's all a deep end.

What I would have loved to have seen is how Toby appears to children - he's clearly not this shadowy mass or anything. He must appear friendly, non-threatening to Katie, Kristi, Hunter, Leila and any other children. I think they missed a trick here - it would've been cool to see Toby change from friendly to all-out terrifying. Instead we got just a generic mass of CGI mess. A real shame.
