What cliche wasn't included?

It was crazy how many cliches there were in this movie, I was disappointed that people rated this highly because I feel like this encourages filmmakers to never think outside the box or make something interesting. My most hated cliche is the hot girl kiss reward at the end. She's always young but with the confidence of a 80 year old who doesnt give a *beep* The build up to the ultimate stand up pee and the slim Jim shtick. I hated all of it. I guess I should
be grateful there wasn't a comedic black friend.

Agreed. It was one of the worst, most predictable films I've seen in a while. I liked Paul Rudd and Craig Robert's characters but it's a shame the script and plot were awful. How many times have we heard "are you asking me out on a date" and "you're not my father" in a film?

It was also pretty convenient how Selena Gomez and her father kiss and make up and walk off into the sunset together...despite obviously having massive problems.

Also....Craig Roberts doesn't sit in the wheelchair like someone in that condition would...as in his posture. He looks too able-bodied and that isn't believable.

A cliche is not back just because it is a cliche. I thought this movie was a lot of fun. Sometimes cliches can remind us of the fundamentals. A bite of the James, sir?
