The islamic lyrics might appear off-putting, but i think the song fitted in quite good in the end.
shareI thought that too, but then followed "amazing grace is pouring down" which can be seen as a reference to the Christian hymn (or to the Christian doctrine of mercy). In fact, both of can be seen as a reference to songs, because Inchallah ("God willing") is also a song by a Belgian Salvatore Adamo, who is a Roman Catholic, and that song was written as a peace song in 1967.
