Bad, horrible writing.

A lot of writing problems in this one. It's confusing and you often find yourself wondering how a situation developed into another. It's like it's a two movie story condensed into one, with a lot of sketchy parts that needed more time to unfold properly. Decent to good acting, but that's not enough.

Idk, im watching it now on netflix, its pretty str8 forward to me. I'm an hour in, when the girl that JR is infatuated with invited him in the water on the beach. Obi-Wan befriends the kid and offers to make sure his 6 months is a breeze, so long as when he gets out, he puts stuff in motion to break him out. Lynch is obviously the type of guy who in prison nobody f's with, and he knows the deal with ea new inmate that comes in, HENCE, making the kid a perfect candidate because it's only 6 months. After that, the choice was his whether or not to tag along with the big boys, and he seems to not really be into that lifestyle all that much. But no family so what else is he to do, but make some $ get the girl, run off, cliche type stuff. Although, I'm only half way through I'm guessing that's what he's thinking.

Didn't confuse me at all.

I didn't find the writing confusing, but when he rolled up to the place where the gold was and showed his papers/ID, it didn't make sense to me since he was apparently well known all around for having been this huge criminal. So why didn't the guard recognize him?
