Was I the Only Viewer to Sense a Brady Bunch Ripoff? (Spoiler)

I saw just one scene, and that only because either my mom or my cat accidentally leaned on the remote, changing the channel to one showing this, but I had an enormous déjá vu when Charlie Brown discovers the test papers were switched. It was much like the scene in The Brady Bunch episode "Her Sister's Shadow," in which Jan, desperate to outshine or at least no longer be outshined by Marcia, thinks she has won an essay contest but, due to an adding mistake, discovers Nora Coombs actually won. This is arguably the best-known episode of The Brady Bunch, containing as it does the best-known line from the series, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" Jan admits the mistake at a school assembly honoring her and is commended for her honesty. I felt this scene was too similar.

I never really watched The Brady Bunch, so it didn't strike me.

I'm afraid they were counting on a lot of younger viewers saying that. People in my generation had many episodes memorized and "Her Sister's Shadow" is in the top five of classics.
