I grew up reading the comics and watching all the specials. Loved Peanuts. This movie seems to have all the familiar elements, but it just seems soulless to me.

The Sixties and Seventies had the best "Peanuts" specials and movies. I am nearing fifty and I still watch the classic "Peanuts". I don't think "Peanuts" translates very well with the 21st Century kids. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in school, record players, rotary dial telephones were great things I remember but they are foreign to most kids today. The "Peanuts" gang hasn't aged in almost seventy years but forcing computers, media players and hip hop music on them appear just as awkwardly out of place.
