Loved it but had 2 problems with it (spoilers)

1) There was no on-screen resolution between Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty dealing with the fallout of the test being accidentally switched. I wanted to see a conversation or something.

2) When the book report got shredded, Charlie Brown walked away while the little red haired girl actually talked to him, inviting him to fix the report. I understand that Charlie Brown could have been so distraught that he didn't hear her talk to him but why did the movie cut to about 3 months later to the end of school before he and the little red haired girl had a conversation? I find it hard to believe that NOTHING happened in those 3 months. That there was NO opportunity to have a conversation. Even if Charlie Brown felt he couldn't talk to her, Linus could have convinced him within a weeks time at least. The story should have wrapped up well within winter.

Other than that, I loved the film. It made me laugh and remember fondly the comics. Snoopy was great!

I could suspend a lot of disbelief for some of the flaws, and yet the huge one for me was Snoopy. I understand why they did it, kids today so not want to see a character get kicked to the curb as often as Charlie Brown only to have his dog kick him when he's down. But Snoopy was normally pretty lousy to his hapless owner.

Even in the heart breaking "Snoopy Come Home", Snoopy just wanted his dinner. It was part of the hilarity of piling on Charlie Brown. In the Peanuts Movie Snoopy is the best buddy dog he never was in the old days.

But as I said, I understand.

MY REVIEW

the movie was good, but not sure if its worth paying today's expensive cinema prices for this, i'd say maybe go buy it at 'piratebay'

why? I LOVE snoopy and the 'peanuts' story, however what i don't like is them caving into the "oh look its the 21st century so it MUST be in 3D otherwise it won't be good" instead of just keeping it as a hand drawn classic style of animation we all love

also, this movie looked like a giant TV episode,the other movies felt like it went somewhere and was its own thing, this was just a movie length tv episode with an unoriginal plot i.e charlie has a crush on a girl

although in this linus isn't a jerk stealing charlie browns crush, I'm pretty sure there was a movie where linus steals his crush when charlie was already suffering from his very low self esteem

Additionally i would've loved snoopy to go on an actual adventure like a real human-being i.e get in a trench coat and hit the town, in this he just DREAMS of the adventure

The ending was anti-climatic where he finally meets the little red hair girl and she leaves, it needed more then that to end a movie i reckon

FINALLY i hate the music, the music was garbage, put some 80's music to it, keep it retro, it had no heart to it at all, i rate this movie 7.5/10 could've been way better
