I feel like this is a part of the story never addressed in the documentary.
We hear Kai's version about being drugged, raped and "defending" himself after waking up, but not the prosecution's version which was surely told during the trial.
He was at the train station with his victim who apparently bought him a ticket. Why was he still with him later that day? What was the motive?
Because Kai was a psychotic mentally ill person.
shareidk the whole thing seemed sus. the guy who got killed was a well connected local and the investigators didnt do there best to get to the bottom of it and covered a lot up. that being said Kai always gave me the creeps and I feel more secure knowing he is in prison

shareI don’t know but the story reminded me of the ending of Midnight Cowboy with Joe Buck and Townie. The rage, the robbery, the desperation, and maybe even some sort of PTSD from a past rape or childhood trauma.
