Why is everyone a zombie?

When it became cool to complain about the ubiquity of zombie entertainment in the post-Dawn-of-the-Dead-remake era, I was steadfastly insisting that there was no such thing as too many zombies.

But wtf was with literally (not literally) everyone being a zombie in this movie? The first story had a zombie ghost, the second story had zombie everyone, the third story had a handful of zombies towards the end, and the fourth story had aliens acting like zombies.

I did get spooked though.

I think your thinking about zombies too much. And i thought i was bad. But the only real zombie story was the walk in the park one.

Safe Heaven had zombies as well though.

I think they were more along the line of possessed.

They all committed suicide and came back.

Yep. V/H/Z on this one.

What I liked about the first was all the differences in skits. Almost all of these ended up with zombies.

Those were more ghosts that zombies in the first segment. The second one of course. The third one was more demonic possession to me but I'll give you the "zombie" perspective. The forth one had aliens, not zombies, and they were abducting humans and I saw none of the characteristics of zombism there.

I think people have a problem with the first one because the ghosts kind of look like zombies.

Also, the girl in the wraparound segment when her neck gets broken and that guy who shot himself can be seen as zombies as well.
