So nobody saw these movie knock offs?

I recently binge watched all three movies in a row, and only the original did I like. The second was ok, I guess, but I found it comical that the cult segment, which started beautifully, seemed like a knock off of silent hill (complete with air raid siren) and then the slumber party, which at first reminded me of war of the worlds with Tom cruise and eventually devolved into something a young Peter Jackson would've made (eg. Bad taste). The latter being I wouldnt have hated but to be classified as a horror movie and this being a prominent short....eh. It left much to be desired, and gave the overwhelming feeling that I don't have a good idea so guess we will just parody more successful thrillers and yet not admit it.
