The Cult Was The Only Good Video
That seriously could have been its own horror film.
shareYeah that was creepy as *beep*
shareI don't have a favorite but come on that ending scene was cheesy as hell. Daddy or did it say dada? Ether way it was just silly.
shareI'm just talking about the mass suicides and murders mostly.
sharePapa.
Does IMDB hate apostrophes?
I was creeped out until the demon called him papa. Then I giggle-snorted.
shareGreat Segment and definitely the best in the movie but I also liked A Ride in the Park and Slumber Party Alien Abduction.Liberate tu temet ex inferis.
pro ego sum diabolus, pro ego sum nex.
I liked everything until the demon popped out from ontop of the car and said, "Papa!"

That Cult scene sure didn't pull ANY punches! Wow! The best segment of this series by far.
A close second would be the first segment of the original 'VHS'. That actress' eyes!
(I don't recall the demon saying 'Papa'! at the end of the cult segment!(
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.
I don't either. Maybe there's different cuts.
shareI would watch the cult segment as its own horror film, at least if it could have fleshed out the characters and story. I think the segment started out very strong, but like all of the other segments here, they ran out of ideas fast and used gore as a crutch. And where are we to believe the subtitles came from – the original footage or the film's production team? In either sense, it took me away from the core of the film.

'Safe Haven' was pretty good and well made, along with the last segment I'd say these two shorts kept the film from being a total loss. 'Slumber Party Alien Abduction' was also a bit creepy and inventive. It reminded me of The Gate (1987), with the villains here being a bit different of course. These two could absolutely sustain feature length movies.
