Well, you might check out 3 as well, you've got nothing to lose.

As for anthology horror movies: 3 Extremes (2004), Asylum (1972), Tales From the Crypt, Dead of Night (1945), Trick 'r Treat (2007), Creepshow (1982), Black Sabbath (1963).

Ahhh the first one was so good! And the second one not as chilling but still pretty good. I don't think anything old school will do the trick for me, although I do love creepshow.

You need to watch Black Sabbath since it contains a pretty creepy segment called A Drop of Water.

Body Bags. It's directed by John Carpenter(Halloween ) and Tobe Hooper(Texas Chainsaw).

Tales from the Darkside: The Movie 1990 and The TV Series: Tales from the Crypt, Twilight Zone (Original), and The Outer Limits are very good.....

I can vouch for each of the following horror anthologies. They're in no particular order, but all are good.

Tales From the Crypt
The Vault of Horror
Stephen King's Cat's Eye
Tales From The Darkside: The Movie
ABC's of Death 1 and 2
Three...Extremes
Black Sabbath
Twilight Zone: The Movie
From A Whisper To A Scream
Trick 'R Treat
Tales of Terror

Some good ones that haven't been mentioned yet:

Trilogy of Terror
Trilogy of Terror II
Dead of Night (1977)
Dr. Terror's House of Horrors
Torture Garden
The House That Dripped Blood
From Beyond the Grave
Tales That Witness Madness
From A Whisper To A Scream
Creepshow 2

Southbound

Horror anthologies you just gotta see:

Trick r' Treat
Creepshow
Three...Extremes
Tales of Halloween
Black Sabbath

and maybe not must-see, but worth a look:

ABCs of Death 1 & 2 (2 is better)
Creepshow 2
Twilight Zone
Cat's Eye
Bodybags

VHS Viral is a big step down from 1 and 2 but is still *all right* just because you're gonna see some things you (probably) haven't seen before.
