Agreed!! If I hadn't seen your post, I would have written the same thing! Of all the bad writing in this movie, how could they flub this? It was the perfect opportunity for a close up shot of Liam Neeson, a few hits on a bass drum, and..."she was taken!"
Btw, to me, Sam will always be the pathetic john carrying out "lust" in _Se7en_..
("oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! get it off of me!...")
